For the upcoming season, we invite you to become a linen steward. You can sign up during the information day on Saturday, April 12 10:30, which takes place alongside the sowing of the flax. We work on the beautiful farm De Horsterhof, in Duiven near Arnhem.

What can you expect?
From April to the end of August, we will work together in the field. Starting in September, we will process the harvest by hand (or, in case of a larger yield, mechanically – this will be decided together). We follow the rhythm of nature, so the exact dates will be determined based on weather conditions and the growth of the flax.

April – May – early June: Weeding (3 times, usually on Saturdays)
June: Harvesting the winter flax
July: Harvesting the summer flax
From September onwards: Winter work, processing the flax

Stewardship costs: €125.00 (not included: mechanical processing, extra workshops and masterclasses such as spinning, paper making and weaving).
