In this project, we invited participants to grow 1m2 of flax in their own garden, inspired by the Swedish 1 KVM LIN. Under the guidance of experts, they went through the entire process from seed to textile. Throughout the year, participants received practical newsletters, gained access to online webinars, and took part in inspiring processing days and workshops.

By growing their own flax and experiencing the magical process from seed to fiber, participants naturally confronted critical questions about the current textile and production systems, which shifted their perspective on textiles. This project empowered participants to make better-informed and more sustainable choices.

The end result? A homemade napkin, serving as tangible proof of the journey they had undertaken. At the end of this educational and enriching year, we hosted a lunch where participants brought their unique napkins and shared their experiences.
