On 22 March 2025, participants of the 2024 1m2 vlas programme came together in Apeldoorn to share their experiences and admire each other’s results. Many brought examples of what they had created from their home-grown flax, including flax stricks, hand-spun yarn and even woven textiles.

Hosted at CODA Apeldoorn, the day included inspiring lectures, a shared lunch, embroidery activities and a visit to The Linen Project exhibition. It was a wonderful gathering, showcasing the creativity and dedication of participants and celebrating the journey from seed to textile.
