Artist working with paper made from plants exploring personal stories and a deep interest in nature. My main mission is to slow down the sense of disconnection we experience with nature. I do this by creating sensory works that inspire people and by giving workshops.
What does the stewardship mean to you?
The stewardship led me to an in depth exploration of flax paper and to a valuable exchange and collaboration with fellow stewards. I also found endless inspiration while working in the field. Being on the land allowed me to experience the elements of nature more directly and to develop a deeper respect for them. All of this resulted in new friendships and a meaningful sustainable development in my artistic practice.
